About Us

We are taking business contact quality to the next level!

The founders of ContactPit, Rasmus and Ian, believe that searching for business contacts should be efficient and easily accessible to everyone. Ian’s extensive experience in the marketing landscape proves that high-quality contact lists play a very important role in email marketing. Contacts are the core of an email campaign – no matter how interesting your offer may be, if the email addresses are not personal and valid, the campaign will not yield the desired results.

We have repeatedly seen how marketing campaigns send emails to general business addresses (info@) or outdated email addresses. The combination of Ian’s marketing knowledge and Rasmus’s IT skills led to the development of the ContactPit platform.

Where does ContactPit source its business contacts from?

ContactPit’s data originates from the Estonian Business Registry. In the Business Registry, it is possible to make queries about all legal entities, but queries can only be made one at a time. From ContactPit’s database, companies can be differentiated based on filters, and suitable contacts can be downloaded all at once. We update the information in the ContactPit database daily.

In addition, we verify all email addresses to ensure that emails can be securely sent to the downloaded contacts. During verification, we remove all faulty and outdated contacts, so that only functional email addresses remain.

How do you create a contact list in ContactPit?

In ContactPit, you can create customized lists based on filters. Filters help narrow down the list of contacts you are searching for – they allow you to specify the type of company or individual that matches your target group. Filtering simplifies the process of finding specific contacts and enhances the quality of results.

Below is a brief description of each available filter:

EMTAK codes

This filter allows you to find companies based on their economic activity classifier (EMTAK). This is useful if you want to target specific business sectors.

Employees

This filter narrows down companies based on the number of employees. By using the employee filter, you can target small, medium-sized, or large companies, according to your needs.

Legal Forms

This filter helps you find companies based on their legal structure, such as private limited companies, public limited companies, sole proprietors, or other legal types.

Registration Date

This filter searches for companies based on their registration date. You can focus on newly established companies or those with a longer history.

Turnover

This filter allows you to search for companies based on their turnover. It enables you to target companies with a specific level of financial performance.

Website Existence

This filter helps you find companies that have a registered website.

Tax Debt

This filter helps you find companies that have had payment obligations or debts. This can be valuable information for assessing financial risks.

Board Members

This filter helps you search for companies based on their board members. You can specify details regarding the legal status of individuals.
